Let them build it if they want, but personally I don't think we need any huge statutes to demonstrate our faith.

the idea is ludicrous.

if they build that thing then the world has every right to tell Polak jokes for the next 300 years.

That is amazing. I personally am not in favour of it.

The money could be spend elsewhere.

Seconded. I have family from Wegrzenice (small village near Swiebodzin) and I met have the village because they fell into our bloodline Smile

Hahaha, that's right, my mom was born there and I support their local side.

I heard about this already but I don't really have an opinion on it. If that is their will, so be it.

Yea you're right ever since the statue went up in Rio me and my buddies can't stop cracking on Brazilians.

This will bring in the business of tourism for the area and the local economy will most likely profit from people visiting. So it might be a good thing.

Who cares, a few people here may disagree but since they are building it i guess someone must support it. Someone said about puting the money to a better use... Wroclaw & Gdansk want new super stadiumd, haha now that's a joke and a waist of money.

I'm for it, looks nice.

Rejtan's absolutely right. If it's tourism we're going for with this idea, then a Buddy Christ statue would attract a lot more attention then some typical stiff-faced Jesus.

It's better to attract the "clown" market, than these types:
