Chris Simon got 25 games, which is the longest suspension ever doled out.

dom_gudo: you can find the hit from the above site, or simply youtube Chris Simon.

 Hollweg should get disciplined for that hit too  Simon's reaction was over the top, if I was in Simon's position, I wouldve just gotten up, and dropped the gloves right away.... beat his ass for a hit like that.... unfortunately Simon just wasn't thinking :?

legal but still dangerous, even a 1 game suspension, small fine or even getting some higher ups from the NHL to talk to him about it will do.

So you being in Simon's position would just take being thrown into the boards like that, get up and just move on like nothing happened? :?

Just saw the highlights of Chicago @ Phoenix, that was a crazy 1st

that's his fault for leaving himself in that position. he could retaliate with his own hit later in the game...but a hit like that with the stick to the face?

anyway, here are the best hits of january

Thank god the Penguins are staying in Pittsburgh. I would of lost a lot of respect for the Penguins if they abandoned their fans in Pittsburgh.

The reason leafs havent won a cup so far is because they never had two or more all star center players like forsber/sakic, yzerman/federov and so on as an example. The last time I can remember that is 1993. They also never had allstar d-men like Blake, Chelios, Hatcher, etc. The leafs shouldve used their money more before the salary cap era. The whole team relies on Mats Sundin and their over hyped goalies.
