Architecture is nice and all but what I really want to see in these developments is plans for urban density and creating a vibrant and dynamic urban core. There are many fine examples of density done right in Europe for Warsaw and other Polish to learn from.

I once watched iTvn about trains in Poland a couple years ago and they showed these chart distances from major Polish cities by train...and time travel. Then they showed the trains pre WWII....and they were faster than the ones today

Glad to see Poland doing something about it...

It ain't all sunshine and lollipops, building something smack in the middle of one of the most psychologically important and meticulous reconstructions was always going to be a controversial endeavor, this initiative frightened me from the design stages, and looking at the current construction, I have a bad feeling in my gut this is going to be a dreadful project ruining something quite splendid and special...... I'll reserve judgment until finalization but looking at this now has me a tad hostile.

Image

They better finish this off in magnificent fashion and breathtaking beauty as her reconstructed neighbours, or I'm faken there upon completion, personally knocking this shit to the ground with a sledgehammer while forever tells me optimistically it's not a bad looking building....

Łódź Fabryczna

How the station will be integrated into the new city center

At the moment this is the concept based on urbanism. The final architectural form will be different, but the mass of the buildings the same.

Bomb shelter inspired Zlota 44 apartments slowly being furnished. A perfect space for those living in modern times but longing nostalgically for those PRL commie days...
