nice pics JDE.

Warsaw doesnt have a lot of towers at the moment but the few ones that they have are interesting and unique not like Toronto where they all look very similar. to each other.

Werd

The good news in W-Wa is that there are many plots for investors to fill with modern scrapers and such, like the parking lot in the picture below that was purchased by some Slovak investors I believe and a planned skyscraper complex will soon fill the area:

Image

Bad news is the commie blocks are residential and no investor in our lifetime will ever be able to come to an unanimous agreement with all the inhabitants to buy them out and tear the concrete monsters down. Such is life. Polska is making amazing progress though year to year it's very heartfelt to witness.

Always loved this metro station:

Image

Went to visit the cemeteries of my grandparents and other family members today, was a very grey and overcast day, quite fitting really. Walking back to the tram stations and having a glancing glimpse at other coffins on the way out it broke my heart yet again at the magnitude of suffering and loss endured by the wartime population of our nation.

Here for example, two young girls that helped out the AK, murdered, worst of all, by a Polak woking for the Gestapo:

Image

Dark clouds = shit pictures with a phone but I love this building:

Image

LOL I saw you guys talking about some club shit, it's plastered all over the advertising walls, too bad we got the Legia game tomorrow: maybe for the after party :naughty:

Another thing WWA can be proud of is that their metro stations are CLEAN!!!

JDE, did you get a chance to have some coffee at SWISS CAFE @ Zlote Tarasy :?:

I liked going there when I was in WWA.
