The one thing I wonder, as games get more detailed, they will surely be harder to make, and will take more care. So they will take longer to produce unless studio size increases. So I wonder what if the cost of making games is getting so high to the point that its not paying off. Maybe the business makes more money then I assume.

So it looks like this event was a tease about the upcoming PS4. Everything (what the system will look like, price points, more gameplay videos as well as upcoming games past the launch date that will be lined up like Uncharted and Final Fantasy) will be shown at this year's E3 to go ahead against Xbox 720 announcement.

Not saying it looks bad, but at the same time it's nothing I haven't seen on PCs for quite a while now. I thought a lot of the other stuff shown today looked much better, but then again the stuff from Square Enix and Capcom are just tech demos.

The bottom pic is ps3 btw. I mean If there has been a game that has looked as nice as that top pic, please show me. That glass reflection effect is insane. Although I agree the jump from ps3 to ps4 isnt as big as ps2 to ps3 or ps1 to ps2.

part of next gen systems is releasing dev kits and software to make it easy for developers to make "more detailed" games. thats why theres a billion amazing looking pc games every year. one of sonys biggest goals for this ps4 was to create a platform that would make it much easier for developers to make high end products.... especially since this was one of the biggest early gripes with the ps3.

i see a huge difference in graphics between ps3 & 4. there is more detail and depth on the screen at once. more lighting, reflections, smoother textures etc.

It does look good, not going to lie, but at the same time it hasn't wowed me as much as I expected. I thought it looked really good until it got into the shootout. Maybe it was my stream which was incredibly blurry.

How does that make any sense. We know little about PS4 and nothing about the next xbox. Pretty terrible statement.

my decision for ps4 over the xbox is based on the ps3/xbox360...... i feel comftrable with the ps controllers, i know they dont charge for online, i like ps3 games more

in the end though who really cares, if i could id buy every system and every good game there is

You wont be able to play used games on PS4 either. Makes total sense cuz itsthe publishers makig money on this, not the people who make the console. Another fanboyism getting shot down.
