Wasn't there a bear laying on a Brampton neighborhood tree branch not to long ago, and they needed to tranquilize it to get it down?

Anywho, bears are indigenous to the area so it is no surprise that one shows up in our residential areas every once in a while.

poor thing shot dead...
fucking useless regional pigs, next time get the training to handle tranquilizers ffs.
Unless it has harmed someone or was dangerously close to, fatally shooting the bear is not the answer.

"Police told CityNews the bear was headed toward a residential area and that public safety is paramount."
I bet the bear was still a long ways away from any sort of neighborhood.

He was in a small wooded park in the middle of the city. I use to cut through this park to get to my elementary school when I was a kid. This is probably the same bear that was spotted in Milton (20min drive north of Burlington). It's too bad they had to kill the bear.

i highly doubt they killed it without cause. bears in residential areas are pretty common occurrence in my neck of the woods. cops here always handle it right and the bears never get hurt. theyd risk getting too much shit for just killing it. they probably had some sort of environmental people consulting them.
