Irek was the best godamn thing we had going for a long ass stretch during the emptiness that marked those days. Bless the man for providing some hydration to a polska fanbase dying of thirst.

God those were depressing days when he was literally the only hope we had for a half-decent striker.. had some rocky patches but definitely showed a lot of great promise at Auxerre. Sorry for your loss Andy

No doubt he score some nice goals. I was a big fan of him. Too bad he never really worked out for our nt.
