Lech are hopeless!!! :(

Legia will have their hands full this week. We shall see if Legia can make the groups...
Its gonna be a nightmare for both teams. Lech are well on their way into the relegation zone, and Legia have Pazdan and Duda out for the vital game.

A bit more worried about these matches than when i watched the draw. Still going to be optimistic and say Zroya 1-1 Legia , Lech 1-0 Videoton. Not gonna get much sleep Friday morning - legia game 3am, lech game 5 am

I'm sitting three stools away from Henrik Ojamaa now at Champions bar in warszawa watching the game.. Poor guy looks so depressed, want to buy him a beer..

It's 100% him but I don't understand why he is here - is he still a Legia player???

His loan with a Danish side ended August 5th, I guess he's just on vacation now.

All piss takes aside.. I'd take him back from loan given the injuries and such with L ATM..

He was a gun for Motherwell came to poland and flopped but srs he's A lot better than Bereszynski...beres I watched at saw at half time and struggled to keep up with the "ball juggle game" the half time. Such a hack 'but fit' so keeps his spot on the bench...

Enough talk about Ojamma, hes done. You should of bought him a beer and told him its time to move on...

Great results today, Lech 3-0 very nice. Legia, should of came out on top 0-2 with a pk for handball, but they also were very lucky not to have lost 3-1 today. Kuciak played amazing, Pazdan too. Will be nice to have Duda back next week helping, although Prijovic played really well and knew how to hold the ball up. Nikolic shit the bed today.

Proud of legia today and shocked by lech.

$1.300.000 euros to make the group stage.

Then $200,000 for each win and $100,000 per tie.

This is how you build up the bank and build a high coefficient.

Its harder to be more effective in away games. Good to see Legia win 1-0. Lets hope for better things in WWA.

Lech is pretty much in EL groups

Now we wait for Legia...

Didnt they increase the bonuses? I thought for some reason it was more than this.

Getting to EL group stages - 2.4 mil EUROs (used to be 1.3mil)
360 000 EUROs for each win, 120 000 EUROs for each tie.
If you win the group another 500 000 EUROs. 2nd place 250 000 EUROs.
Advance to 1/16 round, 500 000 EURO bonus.

That is some serious money.

Dont forget there is also match day/tv income to add on top of those bonuses too.

Well that win just paid roughly Nikolic yearly wage. Was a tough game first half but after the goal Legia steamrolled. Well done. (Ojamaa left before final whistle  )

Was looking at the UEFA country coefficient rankings and Poland sits in the 19th position. If we were able to make a decent pt move and the teams above us flop we can move up the rankings fairly easy.

End of the day, we need both Lech and Legia to advance to group stages and then get out as well. But, one step at a time, we need to win on Thursday.

Countries ranking from the 8th pos(Russia) to the 14th (Greece) are awarded an extra place in EL/CL competition. While the top country has 8 spots(England).

Polands points at the moment are 20.250 and the teams above them 18 through to 14 are very tight.

14 Greece 7.600 4.400 6.100 6.200 2.200 26.500 5/ 5
15 Romania 4.333 6.800 6.875 5.125 2.000 25.133 2/ 4
16 Croatia 3.750 4.375 4.375 6.875 4.000 23.375 2/ 4
17 Austria 7.125 2.250 7.800 4.125 1.500 22.800 3/ 5
18 Cyprus 9.125 4.000 2.750 3.300 2.375 21.550 1/ 4
19 Poland 6.625 2.500 3.125 4.750 3.250 20.250 2/ 4

Cyprus has one team in the CL and they are losing to the Kazaks 0-1 on agg.

Austria's Rapid have been demoted to EL group stages, while Salzburg look to be on their way out 0-2 on agg. Finally, Altach is down 0-1 on agg.

Croatia's Dinamo are through to CL, while Hajduk is losing 0-1 on agg.

Romanian side Steau is losing 0-3 on agg and Astra is up 3-2 in EL.

Greece has always been lucky with draws and they continue to have all their teams in 5/5 Olympiakos in CL group automatic and Asteras in EL group automatic... looking closer PAOK is up 5-0 on agg, Atromitos is down 0-1.

It will be very interesting after Thursday and then Friday with all the draws. I hope Lech and Legia have a huge year in Europa.
