Good little interview with Wojciech Golla. He talks about the different approach in training - which I think Poland should lean to. Plus I really like the reason why he chose to play for NEC. You can tell he's a smart guy.

Liverpool put in a concrete offer for Zielinski. Normally I'd love for him to take it, but he won't get any playing time before the Euro's. He's better off staying at Empoli starting consistently and being ready to partner with Krycha this summer. After that he can move wherever the fuck he wants.

Also Matt Miazga moving to Chelsea for 5 mil, way to go on that one Nawlka...

You sure about that? All that I've read was that he was unsure. Too bad, we could have had a CB for the next 15 years...

Willing to bet that PZPN just didn't make the right moves. History repeats itself.

I read a while ago that it was difficult for Dorna to call-up Miazga because he didn't play in Europe. The logistics and cost of flying him from the US was deemed to high for a player who they rated lower than other youth CBs. The last time he played for Poland (u18) was in 2012. Back then - everyone thought Igor Lasicki and Gracjan Horoszkiewicz were better and it was unnecessary to fly in some kid from the US. Miazga improved significantly, Lasicki and Horoszkiewicz did not. I talked to some NY Red Bull fans and they said he has made great improvements over the last 1-2 years and feel that he will be their star CB for years to come.

It's unfair to put the blame on Nawalka. He had nothing to do with Miazga and asking him to call him up for a Euro qualifier was not in the cards.

I think Stefan Majewski is pretty incompetent but Miazga definitely got situated well in the USA

While thinking about Miazga, I would like to see someone take the place of Thiago Cionek for the Euros. Cionek just got picked up by Palermo so he will not be playing much (if at all) this spring. Hopefully Nawalka is looking at Bartosz Salamon who has been a consistent starting CB this year for top Serie B team, Cagilari.
