first one was a tap in (poacher goal) - second was a really nice header off a corner.

Milik vs Milan

Post by lewandowskielbasa » Sat Aug 27, 2016 9:47 pm

"After the disappointing result in Pescara we were very angry and wanted to use that on the pitch. We dropped points at Pescara, everyone was disappointed and we wanted to show the fans what we could do.

“Of course we then went back to 2-2, but we scored another goal and another to get the win.”

Does Milik feel the pressure of having to replace record-breaking Gonzalo Higuain after the move to Juventus?

“I don’t feel the pressure. Gonzalo remains a very good player, but he’s at another club. I am not thinking about Gonzalo, only about myself, I try every day to become a better player, work hard and train even more.”

~ Milik

It's been a year since it's happened - in celebration the Bundesliga official channel finally uploaded the full length video of it!

Enjoy! I know I did re-watching it!

Pretty moving moment for Kuba. Sad to see hes no longer with BVB would have been nice for him to retire with the club. Great support

Hamsik: "We miss Milik a lot. Our latest result perhaps could have been better if we were a bit more efficient up front. We create a lot of opportunities but don’t convert enough of them. This confirms our need for Arek....
Zielinski is a modern player. He is quick and not afraid to mix it up. Despite his age, he is a class player. The future is ahead of him."

Hope he doesn't let his scoring record go to his head or else he'll join a top team and never see the light of day because hes nowhere near as good as his goal tally would indicate.

Have to agree. I do like the guy but he will be found out big time in epl or bundesliga. 80% of his goals are headers, tap ins or from a coupe m out. Sure that requires precision and keeping calm under pressure but with little creativity to his game I don't see him starting for Liverpool for example
