Yea, if they had to go polish, Skorza was their best bet. Intelligent manager who can turn this Lech team around. He wont be in charge until the following weeks game.
With the money they got from Teo, they should pick up a few good players before the window closes.
They might just cheap out and stick with Kownacki/Himalanean as striker. Also they don't really need a goalie. They actually have a pretty good squad. Rumak was just useless.
Hima as striker didnt work out so well when he was played in the position a few times with Rumak, and you cant rely on 17 year old as your main striker....

Lmao yup sounds about right. Make 4 million, loan out a guy from Lechia's reserves

Should've spent the money they wasted on another midfielder in Keita and bought a decent striker, it was inevitable they'd sell Teo by the winter break at the latest.

The good start to the reign of Skorza continues with a convincing 5-0 win of GKS.

Wow, Rumak really ruined Lech. It would be nice to see more than just Legia pulling their weight again, hoping Lech qualify for Europe next season.

Lech NEED a striker and new central defenders. Lech have solid wingers and full backs, decent goalie and good DM's in Linetty and Jevtic (believe hes going back to Basel in the winter though)

So I guess the next Lewandowski hype Kownacki is getting is over then? Certainly doesn't seem to have the same hard-working ambitious drive that Lewy had (and arguably made him successful).

I hope his talent will still develop to a top-Ekstraklasa level though.

Where did you see Lewandowski's hard-working ambitious drive that he had at 17?

Too early to say if he'll be the ''next Lewandowski''

I didn't see it personally because I wasn't paying attention to him back then.

Looking back on his career however, after being snubbed by Legia, he worked hard at Znicz and then at Lech to win his spot on the starting lineup.

It is his first season in the first team I suppose. We will see where he is a season from now.

Kownacki is playing well this season he's just not ready yet to lead the attack for Lech Poznan. Potential is def there for him to be something.

Still too early to say.. someone like Teodorczyk on the other hand you could see he would just be mediocre since he was at Polonia at 20/21. Kownacki still has a lot going for him and you can't write him off as being good or bad

Lech zadłużony po uszy. "Mogliśmy nie dostać licencji"

Dont count on Lech being "European" good even with Skorza.

These guys have had the same core for the past couple of years now that has lost to teams like AIK Solna, Zalgiris, Stjarnan, and that probably isnt gonna change any time soon even with Mourinho as coach

Legia had the same core maybe not as long but a coach made the difference.

Lech had a shit coach (Rumak) and the team couldnt play above its potential like Legia.

Had no idea Lech officially signed Darko Jevtic permanently. They paid Basel 100k euro for the loan and another 350k to sign him permanently. That's some serious cash they're splashing around.

Also paid 100k to loan out this David Holman kid, another attacking midfielder

Pretty cheap considering how much Jevtic adds to the team. I wonder how long they've contracted him. He has a high probability of making them some nice money.

Plus loan fee that's 450k.. Legia spent a whole season negotiating for Orlando Sa and they paid 450k. It's pretty good for lech, Legia is just as fucking cheap
