I hope they buy him and Legia make a profit.

Owner wants to build an extra 2-3 soccer pitches close to the stadium as well as build academy headquarters outside the city.

Also says Legia gets 30mil zl from sponsors.

Don't know how I feel about this.. Supposedly Piech is going to sign with Legia this week. 1 mil zl isn't exactly chump change in the EK and it's not like he's been playing that well. He's going to be 4th in the pecking order up top so this isn't that great a deal for him either

Ronan also officially a Legia player for the next 12 months

Wow, 250k in this day and age for a player like Melikson?

When Legia just spent 1m on Piech?

That is pretty downright dumb.

interesting comment....

Wierzę że się sprawdzą, tak jak w zarząd który podjął te decyzje transferowe. Gdyby mogli ściągnąć lepszych (z zagranicy) bez naginania budżetu to by to zrobili.... a np.

Piech
Kosecki - Radovic - Guilherme
Jodłowiec - Vrdoljak
Brzyski - Dossa - Lewczuk - Bereszyński
Kuciak

Przykładowy skład "na drugi dzień" w lidze (mega kreatywna pomoc, pracowity Kucharczyk, dobra technicznie "9", sprawnie podłączające się boki obrony, stoperzy dobrze ustawiający się i asekurujący, perspektywiczny bramkarz):

Orlando Sa
Kucharczyk - Szwoch - Żyro
Pinto - Duda
Ronan - Astiz - Rzeźniczak - Broź
Budziłek

Do tego w kadrze dobry duch szatni i idol kibiców Sagan oraz gigant Jałocha, młodzi Wieteska, Kalinkowski i Ryczkowski. Fajnie to wygląda. Do tego aż 17 polaków w 27-osobowej kadrze... nauczmy się cieszyć z tego co mamy, a z każdym sezonem będzie coraz lepiej.

You guys are over-reacting regarding Legia's transfers. Transfer window just opened.

First of all the transfer window is not over. When it is we can judge Legia's transfers...

Why is that such a crazy thought? Rado is by miles Berg's favorite up top. Second you can either take Sa or Sagan, one is a club legend and has been scoring consistently with the little time he's had, plus even when the season was won Berg continued starting a 35 year old Saganowski over a fit Sa who was just signed for 450k. Piech scored 9 goals for a team stacked with midfielders who did nothing but feed him balls, plus he's new to the team and will take time to learn Berg's new system. Where do you figure he's going to be?

I think Rado was put up top more out of necessity than anything. Sagan was injured, Dwali shit, Sa out of shape... so it fell to Rado and he ran with it. I still think Rado's best position is CAM, playing right behind a striker. And if need be, he can of course play RM too.

As for Piech, I think he'll be in the mix for sure. Sagan is indeed a legend but he is also 35, so I think his time will be limited to sub appearances. Sa is the real unknown here -- he came with some hype attached to him, but he also came over out of shape/injured and never got a chance as the Rado-Duda partnership took off. Piech is a proven goal scorer in the EK. Even if he is not CL quality, Legia will need someone to rest Rado/Sa for EK games (assuming they get into CL or Europa group stages)
