It might be hard to get one sent directly to Italy. :?

I had a look at the Widzew online store and it only ships to Poland unfortunately.

Perhaps someone here could get one, send to it to you, then you pay them through PayPal or something?

the likes of Citko, Szymkowiak, Michalczuk, Szarpak etc are coming back again... even Smuda is going to be there as coach

in other news... Cacek is paying Widzew's debts and suing the old owners for the money, as they are the ones who purposely left the club with financial problems... hence PZPN gave the club the OE license back

most likely something like this:

------------------------Fabiniak----------------------

Lisowski----------Ukah-------Szymanek------Broz

Budka-------Kuklis------Juszkiewicz-----Maslowski

------------Kowalczyk------Mierzejewski------------

also got Napoleoni, Klos, Szeliga, Stawarczyk and Oziembala that could make the starting 11... might be that Kowalczyk plays instead of Kuklis as a playmaker and Oziembala goes up front with Mierzejewski

This has been a rumor for quite some time now but has now become official info. Pawel Janas to take over from Waldemar Fornalik as the new coach of Widzew Lodz.

http://www.widzewiak.pl/czytaj/newsroom ... dzewa.html

Overall good news as another former star of Widzew is assigned at the club. Lapinski and Tlokinski are already involved with the club and this is just another in the many steps required to bring Widzew back to it's glory days. I do personally feel for Fornalik however. He practically didn't set a foot wrong so far this season (although one could argue that fielding Mierzejewski is like shooting oneself in the foot) and ended up getting replaced.

Janas is one of the best Polish coaches, no matter what anybody says. It is another step in the right direction to bring Widzew where Widzew should be, which is among the best. Sometimes I recall the previous years and shed a tear of how awesome it was.

Matusiak has big plans of returning to the NT, any word on whether he'll start for Widzew? or is he coming off the bench?

I think it's a bit early for that but a fit and in form Matusiak is an obvious choice ahead of Oziebala up front. Now that Mierzejewski got transferred to Cracovia (Thank God for that) there's less competition for Radek. (Not that Lukasz was ever any competition for anyone)
He's set to start in a friendly against Jagiellonia coming up shortly so we will see how he goes.
