Slask is broke. Owner is not pumping money to club because the city wont let him build a mall beside the stadium or something like that.

Such a shame.

Way to be in the game Polska just like you are with your Wisla news.... I wasnt going to comment but I had to how the fkk are they selling half the team, where did you read that or did you just decide to make it up? ;) Like the other man said, not only have they signed 3 good players but are also looking to sign more. Sounds good to me!

Slask are not in good financial position by any means. They just realize that they need to invest in their club to go forward, or risk becoming Wisla.

Slask looking into Paixao's twin brother, Flavio, whose contract at his old club just finished.

He is also a striker.

Gola, he plays wing.

They have singed him and Rafal Kujawa as they both have passed their medicals! Still, will be a very tough two legs vs Club Brugge. But, this will also be a great test for their new revamped squad.

http://wks.pl/news/6253,Flavio-Paixao-o ... laska.html

Jeśli zawodnicy zaliczą testy medyczne, to podpiszą kontrakty z wrocławskim klubem.

Flavio Paixao to brat bliźniak Marco, nowego napastnika Śląska. Pomocnik przekonał do siebie Stanislava Levego.

Najpierw trenował z rezerwami, a teraz został włączony do treningów pierwszej drużyny.

That was prior to them passing their medical, read yesterday that they both passed!

Oded Gavish confirmed for 300,000k

I am glad for this transfer. Pawelec/Kokoszka is not the defensive duo I want to see play against Club Brugge. I just hope that he is really good.

So Flavio Paixao and Rafal Kujawa are all but signed as well. Things are looking up for Slask.

Flavio out of Slask because his past team refused to give up his card. So, he cannot sign with anyone. Fkkn losers.

Outside of the obvious comments that will ensue from me asking this...Why would a team in Iran deny Flavio Paixao the opportunity to go play somewhere?

Stories like this really should serve as a cautionary tale that the footballing world is not the same everywhere, and there are regions of the world that just aren't worth playing in, no matter what the payment is. Look at what happened with Drogba in China. They didn't pay him. Anelka had problems with the fans. Traktor Sazi won't give up a mediocre player's rights. Better off staying in europe, trying ones hand in MLS or heck, even Australia...Iran? Not a place I'd be interested in.

Gavish should provide some solid depth when he's match fit. Anyone know anything about Elroi Cohen? Slask apparently in negotiations with him...Hopefully they can somehow get past Sevilla and get these guys into the fold.
