How about them Blue Jays?

Lose first 2 at home and go on to win 3 straight. Umpire made a mistake yesterday by entering the field before play was done to make it 3-2.

The decision to award Texas the run last night was correct according to the rule book. The umpire staff called it right after convening together on the field before calling MLB head office for extra reassurance.

The reason fans started throwing crap unto the field was because we were upset that we didn't get a gift. Let's be real. We were upset that the umpires didn't acknowledge that they screwed up in the first place, which we were hoping would render the spirit and letter of the law null and void. Which would have been the grossest way to decide the game out of all the possible options.

But man I'm glad that call didn't decide the game....

Rangers have arguably the worst Playoff Defensive History. It cost them a World Series vs Cardinals

A-lot of people myself included have been rooting for the Blue Jays after acquiring those guys at the DeadLine. But Jays will probably be underdogs in the next 2 series

Jays are actually favoured vs Royals.

They will prob take em in 6 games. The city will go nuts if they make it to the World series!

Can you imagine a Toronto & Cubs World Series?

For one that Back to the Future prediction would be even freakier lol... but man it would be Toronto vs everyone else. Everyone has a soft spot for the Cubs!

That would be sweet! I would definitely make the journey out to NY for a game. Tickets would also probably be a hell of a lot cheaper to lol... tickets that go for $20 in the nose bleeds are on stubhub for $500-$600 for a pair

Welp it's Mets vs Royals

Jays bullpen is not strong enough. I could envision Toronto winning the next 2 but not 3 in a row versus KC

Yeah, bullpen missing Cecil right now is a massive blow. Dude was horrid at the beginning of the season when we tried to interject him into that closing role, but man, throughout the season he became our most trustworthy arm. Missing his lefty reliable arm is devastating to our pen.

Osuna and Sanchez are kids, they've been amazing for their tender age throughout the season, but praying for them to shut down a Royals balanced attack in the playoffs is a tall faken order.

Hawk is old and saying goodbye after this season. Lowe is a nice midseason pickup but his arm has already been burnt the fuck out. Loup our other lefty is on some family emergency leave....

Only a Estrada masterpiece start going deep into his start was gonna give us any hope, and he came up throwing like a champ.....wonder how much he's gonna demand on the market.

Now here we go, Price is Price, he's gonna get his 7 years 200+ million contract no matter what, I don't give a fuck about that right now and Rogers I doubt was ever gonna throw that type of money to secure his signature, but, he's here now, and after the horrible postseason he's had, this dude has to step the fuck up next game and bring us to that 7th game with an outstanding performance. Just give Stroshow and his miraculous ACL recovery season another chance to continue the Cinderella story.

Tulo, after hitting that first bomb upon arriving in Toronto has been an amazing glove and a black hole with the bat, looks like he has finally woken up and realized how to hit again!!

Sorry I'm typing like a lunatic - but yeah, the bullpen is depleted as fuck - we need Price to be everything he can be and stay away from our pen for as long as humanly possible, we need to hurt their starters immediately cause their bullpen is so faken strong, we need our bats to act the way they have been all season, and then we need to hope we find ourselves in Kansas City for a game 7.......

Estrada is a FA, Price is gone, Joey Bats and Edwin are not young dudes no more and are on the last year or their contracts next season - this very well could be the last opportunity of Toronto to have a chance at a ring.

Some interesting facts about this series with Kansas:

Game 1, 1985: Blue Jays win at home by five runs
Game 1, 2015: Royals win at home by five runs

Game 2, 1985: Blue Jays win at home scoring six runs in a game they once trailed 3-0
Game 2, 2015: Royals win at home scoring six runs in a game they once trailed 3-0

Game 3, 1985: Royals win as the bats wake up at home and they win their first game of the series
Game 3, 2015: Blue Jays win as the bats wake up at home and they win their first game of the series

Game 4, 1985: Blue Jays win on the road pushing the Royals to the brink of elimination
Game 4, 2015: Royals win on the road pushing the Blue Jays to the brink of elimination

Game 5, 1985: Royals win at home sending the series back to Toronto with an outstanding pitching performance from their No. 3 pitcher
Game 5, 2015: The Jays win at home sending the series back to KC with an outstanding performance from Marco Estrada, their No. 3 pitcher

From there, the Royals won two in Toronto to take the 1985 ALCS, so if the reverse mirror series continues, the Jays will win two in KC to take this series....
