So I'm predicting a 2-1 victory.

The only line-up change from yesterdays game I would make would be Rybus (if he's healthy enough of course) because even though BERESZYŃSKI played decent Rybus is much better offensively.

I'm thinking more of a 2-0 to us, but it depends how positive we are. Again on paper we should be too strong.

And so ...
Not expecting many problems in this game. Montenegro best 2 players out, jovetic in particular is a fantastic player im very glad he is not playing this match.
OK, we play normal, not stupid defensive that invites problems.
Now our hools have to make an agreement before Russia, again we are making fights between ourselves in armenia...these guys better make sure our fans are on 'same side' in russia as the russians will not be so kindly.

We will win 1-0. Krychowiak will command the midfield. Looking forward to this match. Will not be easy imo.

I hope we play to win the game. If we play for the draw then it will be an ugly and anxious game for us.

Montengero is not eliminated yet, correct?

I am expecting a harder fought game than you guys, it seems. They will make us earn it with physical play.

Savic definitely banned. Jovetic limped off on Thursday, is he another one who will also definitely miss out?

We should be too good for them but this lot are awkward opponents. I don't think it will be straight forward.

No this will not be a stroll, but we should have too much for them and I am expecting a solid win although not necessarily an easy one.

If we are to justify our FIFA ranking, these are the teams we should be able to put away.

Polska is back at the World Cup, and that's good. And the win assures we will be in pot 1 for the main draw, right? The bad news is I just checked the UEFA qualifying tables and we have 14 goals against, way more than all the current 1st and 2nd place teams in the other groups - not a good indicator.

What a crazy game, I'm more relieved than anything. Even though we topped the group this qualifying was shaky all the way from the 2-2 draw with Kazakhstan to this game. Which by the way had a stunning resemblance to each other in that we were also up 2-0 vs. Kaz. and ended up drawing 2-2. Meaning in 13 months, not much has changed in terms of us holding on to leads.
For some reason our players lose focus or concentration too soon, they think the game is won with 15-20 minutes to go and you can't think that way. 2-0 is the most dangerous lead in soccer, that's soccer 101.
If you look at the 14 goals we gave up 11 of them were in the second half after we already had the lead. We let teams steadily back into the game after we come out firing on all cylinders. This may have to do with the fact some of our starters don't play full 90 min. games at their club, they come on as subs with a specific task and lack the form and maybe even tactical awareness of how to play out a full 90 min. game. (Kuba, Zielinski, Bereszynski, Piszczek, Linetty)

Thankfully we have Lewandowski who saved our asses so many times.

Will we see much difference in the starting unit between now and next year? Besides a hopefully healthy Milik, any other young players that could see some big improvements and become a good contributor? Will Kuba and Grociscki still be as effective a year from now? I know Kuba has lost a step, but love how hard he plays and makes good things happen. The Own goal yesterday was from Kuba blasting it across the middle with pace and was lucky but he made it happen.

Of course we will see a difference in the starting 11 for WC. Players will get injured, forms turn to shit...

Dont forget how Lewy was constantly marked in Euros. Expect the same in WC.

Thats why I want Nawalka to find new players and new systems so opponents cant figure us out so easily. Next time around, opponents will not take us lightly. Opponents will also look at us as a top 10 team or whatever.

A lot can happen in 8 months, but in terms of young players potentially going to WC, there are a couple possibilities in positions of concern. I would say following players could get a chance, and if they take it, very much like Kapustka did before the Euros, those young players could go to Russia.

1. Jan Bednarek CB - Southhampton
2. Dawid Kownacki FW/MF- Sampdoria
3. Krystian Bielik DM - Arsenal
4. Tomasz Kedziora RB - Lech

Hopefully Nawalka would test some players in the upcoming friendlies. I think Żubrowski should get a call up
