Yeah, I agree as well. Though I think Janas is still pissed because Ebi missed a few friendlies last year.

I would take Zajac on Mondays, Ebi is good the rest of the time.

Well, he sent Kaluzny home once in Euro qualifying before the Sweden game (along with Wichniarek) so if that is his reasoning, it's piss poor. :)

Well, as far as I know, the NT never plays on Mondays... so I'm in agreeance with you on this point. :P

Zajac is really fast tho, you need a fast winger on ur side.

Calling up Kaluzny is stupid, Lewandowski should be there because of his success w Shakhtar

Hajto being called up really makes me not want to get my hopes up for qualifications because i hate him as much as gola hates kaluzny. he is truley shit.

our defense is too old

In my defence,

Smolarek played even less than all those players u mentioned. I dont think he even sat on the bench for feyenoords senior squad. maybe practised/played with squad B.

The reason why he calls up these guys is to show the clubs' coaches that these are international players (Janas is doing the players favours basically, raising them up a notch). That way, the club coaches are 'forced/encouraged' [notice the quotation marks] to play these NT players. That way Janas has players coming back in 'form' [notice the quotation marks again]. Someting like, I scrab your back, you scrab mine.

no, bring him off the bench to take advantage of defenders w his speed would be more effective

Based on what you've said maybe we should call up Marek Plawgo or some other 200 m. runner since they'll probably be even faster than Zajac. Its not like every other part of their game could be much worse :?

Zajac do nory! Smolarek do kadry! :)

ps. Its nice to have the forum back although I've noticed my post count has been reduced but about 100 posts :?: :?: Anyone else have this?

In my NT :) ...
Kosowski, Gorawski and Smolarek all the right mids we need to call up. Zajac is way down the list.

EuroFutbol: Smolarek did play & train with the senior squad @ Feyenoord. He only got a handful of starts in, though, mostly in the Dutch cups, etc.

And if Janas really is calling up guys with the intention (hope) of getting their club coach to "notice" said player... man, that is pretty sad. :(

Why are people so high on Zajac? He failed three trials this past summer, and hasn't been all that great for Groclin this year. Like Legia, I'd call up Kosa/Gora/Smolarek to fight for the right wing spot. If one or two of those players go down, then I'd call up (reluctantly) Zajac.

Eurofutbol: Smolarek played more than Kaluzny this year, yet the former gets no callup and the latter does. :? 2 years in to Janas' reign and I still am very confused at his selection process.
Zurawski: 6 World Cup games, 410 minutes, 0 goals. Oh oh oh, it's Magic.

I agree. Smolarek is a solid player and he needs to play for Poland on a regular bases. Hes never really got a chance yet. Janas needs to start putting time into him and realize that he's worth it.

Making progress, that idea doesn't sound too bad, if only I'm agreeing due to a distinct lack fo talent on the right wing.

Ebi hasnt played enough for me to judge his performances, although to be fair to him when he did play (usualy in the Dutch cup) he looked solid enough. We should see soon enough at Dortmund just what he is capable of since he says he has been very well prepared for the season and is ready to play.

Polska jest built a whole lot better kurwa 1 year away from 2018 World Cup than (this thread in 2005) the NT in 2006 @ Deutschland (Last time in Europa)
