    Its embarrassing that EK had to bail out Wisla so that they can still play at R22. If Wisla couldnt play at R22 it would be the end of it

    Poland was right in the middle of martial law when they finished 3rd at the world cup, i bet that motivated them immensely to bring joy to the people

    As far as Croatia are concerned, it seems like they are a more progressive nation in general. And that has an effect on their sports as well.

    The same with football clubs. What little money there is around, isn't going into improving the club and it's structure.

    Until they either all retire or literally die out, we will carry on seeing the same shit. The idea that anyone in Poland right now that has any power, gives a single fuck about any sort of funding for sports is unimaginable.

    Nothing in Poland will change until institutions are fully run by the new post communist generations. We still have too many corrupt "kombinatorow" who have that old mentality, around.
